TOURISM STRATEGIES: VisitBritain has published its strategy, noting that, for the first time, Britain is in the top ten for its welcome on the Nation Brands Index, and is aiming for 40 million international visitors by 2020 (it was 31 million in 2012) with spend of £31.5 billion (against a record £18.7 billion last year). For 2013-14, its priorities are to deliver 1.3 million more visitors, including through the GREAT campaign, thus supporting 19,000 new jobs. More details could be found HERE.
